I could not replicate this issue,
Windows 7 x64, lastest updates, beta nvidia driver on a GTX 660 nonti
CPU i3570k OC'ed to 4.3ghz
16GB of ram @ 1600mhz
running on stable.
astaroth I think I found the problem, I had my computer OCed to 4.5ghz with a lower voltage than before, I guess under stress it was making the game crash, I lowered to 4.3ghz and yesterday I played for quite a while and I did not crash.

I don't, re installed Windows yesterday, and the file is gone, I will try to replicate it today.

I don't see the problem, you can always tweak the sound in your settings.
