For me there is no pop-up and the workbench just crashes when opening Zimnitra.ent
These layers seem to be causing the issue, removing them makes it possible to open the map.

Managed to update and download like 12 mods and now it's back to not working again

Well, now it seems to work completely fine.

A couple of days ago this would only happen with some mods but now it's like this with all I've tried.

I have not experienced it while online, I tried it today on the stress test but couldn't do it.
Perhaps because the marker get toggled off when entering the inventory.

Pretty sure you can temporarily fix it by double pressing Alt, it's in the list of known bugs iirc

Have had this problem since Arma 2 (2012) although it seems much worse on my side.
Tried out some fixes just now and none of them worked, it's pretty sad since the game looks really good with ATC on.

So I've played several hours today and haven't encountered the issue, one thing I did yesterday after the last "glitch" of the day was that I switched the headset USB to a USB 2 port instead of 3 so I assume this was a hardware issue and not an issue with the game.

Did a complete reinstall and have restarted my computer many times and the issue still occurs, while before it has only happened while having audio in the background it has on one occasion occurred while no background audio was playing.

Seconded, had a can of spaghetti and dragged the knife into the onto it and did the animation and the can disappeared and my hands became unusable as well as looking like they were holding an invisible can.
