DayZ breaking computer audio (0.63 Offline)
Assigned, NormalPublic

Description

Started having this issue yesterday, it has happened to me around 6 times and it hasn't happened outside of DayZ

Having audio playing in the background for a while causes the computer audio to be broken and only play shorter than 1 second snippets of the audio every 3ish seconds. (Although in the linked video it's completely quiet.)

Did a complete reinstall and have restarted my computer many times and the issue still occurs, while before it has only happened while having audio in the background it has on one occasion occurred while no background audio was playing.

So I've played several hours today and haven't encountered the issue, one thing I did yesterday after the last "glitch" of the day was that I switched the headset USB to a USB 2 port instead of 3 so I assume this was a hardware issue and not an issue with the game.

Will notify if it occurs in the future.
