Just to clear up some disinformation about what IS actually AT mine.
In the video a 7 pound plastic explosive was used. C4 is the most common plastic explosive used in the military and it has explosive power of 1.34 compared to same weight of TNT. AT mines weigh usually 6-10 kg, we have 10kg mines with 9,5kg of TNT.
Let's do little math: 7 pounds is 3.175 kg, multiplied with 1.34 we end up with 4,255kg worth of TNT. So a real AT mine has twice the power, not to mention shaped charges and more powerful eplosives in mines now and in the future.
I'm sorry for the offtopic, but just for the sake of reality. And the V-hull does not prevent the wheels to be damaged, just the crew.
I don't want to argue about this too much but seriously 1 AT mine should destroy both front or rear wheels (if not all) and immobilize the vehicle, depending on the place of the impact.
Mine resistance should only mean that soldiers inside survive.
Voted up, however cars are not likely to explode if hit by a mine, only become a pile of rubble. Armored vehicles lose wheel or wheels and get little damage(internal too), heavily armored = tracked vehicles become immobile with broken track(unlikely internal damage).
- G = equip grenade to your hand
- press and HOLD RMB = pull the pin and hand back to throwing position
3a. LMB = throw
3b. release RMB = put pin back
Cooking is deadly to the thrower with many modern grenades, fuse is often 2 seconds.
