Dont get butt hurt because I assumed you were new. But you are talking about server hoping as it was a normal thing... I dont know lol its like asking how a aimbot works on a FPS game forum, its just retarded imo
You are probably new to DayZ and you think its smart. But what you are doing is called Server Hoping.
I m not sure 100% but I think it's an exploit that is not encouraged by the community in general, if not just being forbidden.
In my opinion it's game breaking and if the inventory clear is intentional to prevent players form server hoping; I think its a good thing.
Thank you, I was about to post it
I don't have this problem, I think many people think its unfair because they do not understand the mechanic behind it.
So far, from my experience, even though it doesn't say that you need food or water, you don't have to wait that it says so.
Lets say: (Fictive numbers)
Hunger level is at 250/1000: it will say something,
but you eat and it says you re okay. But you re still at 325/1000
You can keep eating to go up to 800/1000 and it won't bother you for awhile if you keep eating while you pass though towns to maintain your hunger level
That's what I did so far and I've never had any message so far and I went from Cherno to Novy then the NW Airfield and now I m exploring the north.
*I have not had a single warning message yet since Cherno*
So I think this post is irrelevant because the person who posted it doesn't even understand the mechanic.
(I don't either this is just a theory based on fact I experienced so far)
Sry if its hard to understand, English is my second language but I hope it helped you out
@timdri1
It was only an example, those numbers were meant to make it easier to understand. They are FICTIVE and I don't even know if it works like that.
It was only to explain my understanding of the mechanic
