Game sharing is against the ToU. If you own two consoles, you shouldn't need to game share, since you will be signing into either one to play. One will be your home Xbox and the other will allow you to play your games as long as you are signed in. Game sharing is when two separate people switch home Xboxes so they can both get each others games. Regardless, I agree the bug needs to be fixed. I was just offering a simple workaround to get past the issue for now, based on my experience with the bug.

I have been told of another workaround that may help, credit goes to a user on the DayZ Xbox forums, AlexRUiLs;
The only reason this wouldnt work is if you are game sharing. You have to have your Xbox as your home Xbox. If you are game sharing you are breaking the terms of use of Xbox live and you cant expect technical support to be able to help you, sorry. Try making your Xbox your home Xbox, that might fix the issue.
I have the same issues with servers, only advice I can give is to try different servers, maybe start at the bottom and work your way up. Eventually it will work. I think it could be a problem with the servers not showing up as full when in the server select screen, but I don't know for sure.
Easiest workaround for this is to sign out of your profile, and start the game with no profile signed in. When you are past the loading screen, it will ask you to sign in, and you can now sign in with your main profile and continue playing.

I think you have misunderstood me. Launch the game from the dashboard with no profile signed in. You only need to sign in when you get to the screen that says "press A to start", and it will bring up the guide on the left hand side of your screen asking you to choose a profile. This is after the loading screen where the game normally crashes if you are experiencing this bug.

Are you holding the A button, using the triggers to switch containers to one with a empty slot, then releasing A? The only time this hasn't worked for me is if the container I am trying to move an item to is registering as full. Sometimes the container is not actually full, but that is a separate issue.
At the main menu, on the left hand side it says that some features have been deliberately left out until the game releases. Not sure what these features are exactly, but I was thinking this was one of them.
Having the same thing happen to me when trying to shoot zombies. Have just been sticking to melee weapons for now to avoid wasting ammunition and death.

I have encountered many of these bugs as well, thanks for putting this list together.
Inventory issues for me as well. Only able to fill my backpack 19/100.
