Easiest workaround for this is to sign out of your profile, and start the game with no profile signed in. When you are past the loading screen, it will ask you to sign in, and you can now sign in with your main profile and continue playing.

That does not work because you need to be signed in to load the game

No you don't.

Yes you do on xbox one you can't launch a game without being signed in. I just tried your solution and it said please sign in the profile that owns the game

The only reason this wouldnt work is if you are game sharing. You have to have your Xbox as your home Xbox. If you are game sharing you are breaking the terms of use of Xbox live and you cant expect technical support to be able to help you, sorry. Try making your Xbox your home Xbox, that might fix the issue.

I have been told of another workaround that may help, credit goes to a user on the DayZ Xbox forums, AlexRUiLs;

I think I found a workaround which will work in most situations. It is similar to your but the main requirement is to run the game with a profile which never run the game, and then switch account.
I tried to do the same with my second account (which played the game in the past) and result was a failure. So I took an fresh account and it worked.

So it’s happened again needs a fix really

This isn't true, you are aloud to do this as I phoned xbox live for help on setting it up. I own 2 xbox ones. One X in my living room and one S in my bedroom. Never had a problem playing any other game other then this one. Played fine on my X for 2 or 3 days, this bug happened and stopped my from playing. Had to bring my S down to play the game. The dashboard bug shouldn't be there. If it wasn't there wouldn't be an issue.

Game sharing is against the ToU. If you own two consoles, you shouldn't need to game share, since you will be signing into either one to play. One will be your home Xbox and the other will allow you to play your games as long as you are signed in. Game sharing is when two separate people switch home Xboxes so they can both get each others games. Regardless, I agree the bug needs to be fixed. I was just offering a simple workaround to get past the issue for now, based on my experience with the bug.
