Still an issue. Note that this bug extends to non-food items.

1.) Attempt to eat/drink food item
2.) No animation occurs
3.) No option to use other items from inventory e.g. bandages

Relog appears to "solve" the issue.

Seems more likely to occur under laggy conditions.
