I agree. But I can see this may either:

A) Cause weird-looking animations

or

B) Create complaints of people shooting someone "right in the head", and it having no effect.

This is your opinion. It's the same as third-person. If you don't like it, don't use it. If it bothers you that much, play on servers that have it disabled. A toggle is fine
