the way i found around this was you have to place the items in your hand and then attach them to the piece of wall to get that section to build. yeah otherwise all the materials just drop to the lowest floor if you drag them from inventory to wall section.

I agree the loot is messed up right now. I have been playing again for 3 months and have never found a M4 or any ak beside the 74U. I have night vision scopes and now guns to go with it.

Same thing happened to use had a large tent setup for 2 hours and came back to it gone but the fully built car next to it was fine. Suggesting it didn't get raided
