Would be funny if the develepors did something like in Arma II where a pirated copy would turn into a bird at random. Shame people don't want to support such a great game....

Expect performance improvements in beta. Most games get tweaked in performance during beta. Alpha is more for implementation in features and other gameplay additions. Just run the game at the lowest settings, that's what I'm doing right now.
