The latest developer build yesterday, I seem to have had a good performance boost when in the towns I no longer get 20fps it's now 45fps Min.It appears to be smoother and when your panning around is more fluid. Guess it's not the final fix, but a Big Well Done! for your current tweaks.

What would be interesting to know is "What hardware and software is used when the developers Showcase the Scenario's" Especially at E3 this month? The answer would be interesting..Don't you agree? It may give us a benchmark to aspire too!
It probably will not get fixed fully just like Arma 2 never did, but it will most likely be improved in certain areas. I would not hold my breath for a performance like other mainstream games, they are different beasts in lots of ways. This game uses very similar mechanics to it's predecessors so work it out guys. Sorry to disillusion you all waiting for a new engine replacement it won't happen.
People please each and everyone of you post this URL in other forums to ensure that this opportunity is given to others whom might not be aware of the reporting methods. That way we can get a true representation and greatly improve the probability of swift and effective remedy for this situation. Tweet it, Facebook it and do whatever else you need to do to highlight the significance of the issue. Having said that I strongly do believe that Bohemia will come up with a solution, just give them time.
Hello I have this issues too, 2 GTX580 SLI-AMD 1090T Phenom 2 CPU-6GB Ram-Corsair XMS3 CMX6GX3M3A1333C9 plus an SSD Drive-corsair Force 3. Low FPS most of the time around 15 to 25 FPS no matter what settings I use Low-Ultra. Sometimes I get decent 30+FPS in the editor but is very rare. When I look up-to the sky I get 80 plus so I know my SLI is working. Checking my usage, again only getting around 53% CPU usage GPU about 40% on each card and my Ram is around 48% usage.
Really trying to play this game and am recommending to loads of my fellow gamers, but am getting mixed feelings from them because of this. Yes it is an ALPHA and that what is important.
