I found a TEMPORARY fix. if you click start, and type in the serach %localappdata% - press enter - delete the folder thats named DayZ.

It helped me and I can play again. But i still think this issue needs to be fixed properly.

UPDATE: I noticed some things when I join a server. Everything is fine for about 10 seconds. Then a lag spike hits for about 2 seconds, then for another 2 seconds its fine them bam, its crashed.

Is this being worked on at all?

That sucks briid, its a downer man. This game is so fun for just a early beta. I just think it should at least be able to RUN. I understand you cant get a lot of content from a beta, but it should run at least.

UPDATE: Ok its gotten worse. Today I tried again and it crashed after a few seconds of being in the server. Now, its constantly deleting my character and starting a new one. Ugh man...

Also, at the main menu of DayZ it show's that my character is still there. But when I try to join a server its as if I just started. Its not a hardcore server either i noticed this on, I tried 3 different servers with the current version.

Thank you I appreciate your guys reply. I love the game and would love to give suggestions and feedback on it, but I have to be able to play it again to do that, haha.
