Can confirm, I once had a pair of yellow working gloves whilst wielding a kitchen knife and my hands appeared invisible for a short period of time (about 30 seconds). Please note that this was on an earlier version 0.28 I believe.

I did gain access to Zub in 0.28 and when trying to go up the stairs I simply walked into them.
