Objects clipping in tables / desks
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

When placing small objects on tables or desks in Eden, those are well placed in the editor. However, in-game, they clip through the support where they should be placed (see screenshots. This happens on every table, as shown)

This also happens in Zeus mode.

Steps To Reproduce
  1. In the Eden editor, place any support for a smaller object (table)
  2. Place an object, such as a laptop, on this support. The object should look correctly over the table.
  3. Try the scenario: the lower part of the laptop is now inside the table.
Additional Information

When I noticed this problem in Zeus mode (a while ago, on the standard branch), I had not the same PC as now, so I doubt it comes from my hardware.

You have to disable the similation for those objects. Not a big deal.

Place all objects. Mark them afterwards, hold CTRL and open up the attribute -> special states and uncheck enable simulation. By holding CTRL you can disable the simulation for all selected objects at once.
