Assigned, WishlistPublic

Description

Hello all,
Every single time attempt to open the Object Builder it always fails.
Ive tried launching from Arma 3 Tools directly, from the .exe file directly. and from the P drive Directly.

When opening the .exe file I get this message
"Error : The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect".

When opening from Arma 3 Tools, I get no error message but Arma Tools will force closes and ObjectBuilder does not open. {F27826}

Additional Information

I have owned this game for years, have thousands of hours ingame, and this issues has ALWAYS been present. Which heavily limits my abilities to continue working on my modding.

one more note... I have tried verifying the game cache for both tools and arma, Also i have tried completely uninstalling both and reinstalling with no success.

Any help I can get will be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

This issue is usually provoked by conflict (or other issues) with run-time libraries, therefore, reinstalling (repairing) them could solve the issue.

Location: ...\steamapps\common\Arma 3 Tools\_CommonRedist\vcredist
Go in each folder and reinstall them.

I will try this and let you know the results, thank you very much

Well did it work?
Have the same problem...

Sorry to bring up a very old thread, but if anybody has a solution/fix to this problem it would be greatly appreciated. I've also always had this issue over multiple OS's, hardware, etc.

I've always used a lot of editing tools (Blender, Maya, FL studio, Krita, Photoshop, etc.) which all require lots of VCredists so I've had the majority if not all just out of necessity (eg; https://i.imgur.com/c3egSnc.png ).

However... The suggestion mentioned by @tom_48_97 is not actually possible because neither the "_CommonRedist" nor the "vcredist" folders no longer exist in the "Arma 3 Tools" folder (eg; https://i.imgur.com/xFth89v.png ).

I'm guessing I already have them, because I found other forum posts linking to the 2013 VCredist directly from MS's website, which told me it was already installed when I ran it...

Please, any suggestions?

Even just another tool to convert 3D models into arma would be great. Thanks!
