After Preview all objects/units gone

Description

Ran into a odd one today, started a new editor map, had it already saved and named, placed units, trigger's, markers, objects ect. After completing a second preview this time playing till I was killed. Upon hitting End I went back into the editor and got a popup about / is not a value, hit ok, mission is now blank.

Did not hit save, simply did exit editor and relaunch, still blank.

Checked saved mission folder, all my custom folders, init.sqf and Desc are fine but the mission.sqm is not blank/fresh.

Thankfully in this case it was only a 1/2 work lost, but if you lost a full complete mission this way it would not be nice...

The file shows a mod time of 5:27:15 so you can line it up with the RPT file.

Unsure.... when I get the feeling to again will place some units and see if its bound to how I did die.

i do confirm same thing, after preview ends, mission file is re-written, in the way that only class EditorData still there. After that mission is loaded properly (without entities).

Have no idea how to reproduce this bug... yet...

This is not relative to very last build (1.55.133346), i noticed it 1-2 builds erlier.

Do you think it could be related to mods? Could you please try reproducing the issue without mods running so we can be sure it is something with the core game? Thanks.

Hey Adam,

I can give it a try but it's a hard one to repro. Much of your user base that does use the editor though will use some sort of mod(s) and since the early Arma 2 days this is the first time I recall having a issue with a mod result in a map being reset to default.

I have logged bug 0026572 as it would appear CBA was the cause of the "Warning Message: '/' is not a class" event. But while trying to debug this, I found that I could no longer reproduce the mission file being rewritten if I had the auto save feature turned off.

Not sure if Mind could confirm this or not.

Sorry for taking so long.
yes i do confirm this happen without mods. I placed plane, and tank squad, played mission for about 15 times (not restarting, but ending mission and starting preview again), eventually this happened. Mission was cleaned up.

IMPORTANT NOTICE! Mission was never saved to file, i just opened Eden placed some objects and previewed.

ALSO autosave was ON for this test.

i will run same test with auto save off.
Hopefully this help.

P.S.
Tested with autosave OFF, have not happened again, made about 30 tests. Not sure but issue may be related to autosave.

This has been fixed in rev. 133576, there indeed was a problem with autosave feature. Thank you for your report.
