Objects from the categorie objects(small) are usually used to add some detail to the scenes, however, if you place such an object without disabling its simulation, it will fall through the object it was placed upon. Disabling the simulation for every small objects manually after placing it, is tedious and unecessary in my opinion.

Please disable simulation for such objects by default in 3den.
