I host a server locally using the tadst tool to start the server with the altis life mission. I can join in the server just fine and play for a little bit until the game always crashes. I have tried several different versions of altis life and extdb (the database interaction). Some of my friends dont have this problem using other websites that offer dedicated servers {F25202} {F25203}

More than likely this is cause of the following
Means you have an old Database Scheme or you make some custom changes to scheme
https://github.com/Torndeco/extdb#crash-c000005-access_violation
extDB doesn't work well with large datatypes in Database...
Check for Longtext (4GB) change it to MediumText / Text
I have the same issue with BIS MP Missions - http://feedback.arma3.com/view.php?id=20959
It appears to be an issue with 64Bit windows. No fix as yet.
thanks for the reply torndeco but the database for altis lifev3.1.8 doesn't contain any longtext datatypes. have a look yourself:

Hello,
does the server crash when you run it without any specialities? Just run arma3server.exe and select the mission and play.
Hello iceman,
I have tried to run the mission without any mods just the altislife.altis.pbo (v3.1.4.8) and the same thing happens. Using tadst to launch the server. I have also included my log files again with this method labelled yacobm82
try closing steam before launching the arma3server.exe - it has worked for me
-credits for this workaround go to bhaz.
