Allow COOP for (custom!) campaigns
Feedback, WishlistPublic

Description

Please give us the host/ multiplayer-option in the campaigns menu back!

This is NOT about the official campaign which will always be SP-only, but please allow us to create custom COOP-campaigns.

The host/ multiplayer-button could be greyed out or invisible for SP-campaigns to prevent any confusion, just like it was back in ArmA 2.

The current situation where your only option is to release a bunch of separate missions and call it a "campaign" just cannot substitute a real, compiled campaign, where you can have a weapon pool, mission unlocking, optional missions and other great additions that only this mode can offer.

Additional Information

To make progress through a campaign with friends, share a limited weapon pool in the course of it and acquire fresh supplies together etc. is one of the most interesting features a coop-friendly game could have.

Removing off-topic comments. This is not about the official campaign, which will allegedly never COOP.

Well, in the campaigns config, there are options/variables to make it a coop campaign. Never tried them yet.

Well, this might be what's needed to make it MP playable for actual MP campaign. So we don't know if those options/vars would work, if nobody tried them.

Taking the SP campaign as a measure for missing MP campaign options is not valid IMO, as the SP campaign has many solo parts, where not even a second AI is present to make it a potential COOP campaign.

Hence waiting for feedback...
