Allow Zeus To run on a mission we preview directly from the Editor to allow for level testing
Need More Info, WishlistPublic


in its current state , Zeus levels can only be played in MP
thus we have to create a level then run over and start a game in MP only to realize we forgot something
Please add support to run Zeus in the Editor to avoid such needless waiting

You can run Zeus missions in the editor.

how to play as ZEUS in editor? =>
1)place any (f1)soldier as player
2)place (f7)modules category:zeus modul:game master
3)selec (f5) synchrozation and connect module with player (click and drag)
4)test your map
5)press "Z" button to switch into Zeus (or your defined "zeus button") are ZEUS ;)

Does not work , Game level doesn't start unless I place it on a server (LAN or Server)

im asking it to run in the test mission directly from the editor

this Is also NOT a duplicate as im not asking for it to run during editing but rather directly AFTER editing when im testing the mission

currently I have to save the mission to multiplayer and play it on LAN to test it

Not sure I understand, could you please provide exacts steps?

Zeus works in SP, as vantyto explains (only you don't need to synchronize the module with player, syncing has no effect; and default Zeus key is 'Y', not 'Z').

This is probably because of the keyboard layout. AFAIK the game only supports QWERTY layouts.

(Any chance of QWERTZ support, Moricky? ;) )

I just want each of the issues to receive a proper response from the devs and when you have a duplicate they might only deal with one of the issues

Zeus works in the editor...

You just need to name your soldier and then put down Zues Module with the owner being the soldier name.

its not working

if in fact this doesn't happen to everyone then there must be something wrong with my Arma 3 Dev copy since I click on preview and all I get are errors

I cant run a preview mission with zeus and when I asked m brother to try it (prior to creating this issue) he had the same results

Try repairing your A3 copy:

Right-click on "Arma 3" in your Steam Library and select "Properties", on tab "Local Files" press "Verify Integrity of Game Cache...".
