When you are prone with the sidearm in hands, if you switch to your main weapon
your character will first stand up then go back to prone and only then switch to
main weapon.
Note that the other way around (meaning switching from main weapon to sidearm while prone) works OK.
equip your handgun and go prone (or go prone and then equip your handgun)
Switch back to main weapon while you are prone, your character will first
stand up then go back to prone and only then switch back to main weapon.

Yeah, I guess this is related to my ticket (#8703) as you wrote but I didn't notice that the character performs the same maneuver when you go prone with your handgun equipped.
However I cannot reproduce it when going prone with the main weapon and then switching in between weapons.
Also I just noticed: When you equip handgun in prone position and then drop it your character will stand up.
It's probably all related.

equip sidearm while prone =/= switch from main weapon to sidearm while prone. :)
Anyway, it seems there will be quite a some bugfixes coming up in preparation of the beta.
It has fixed itself or i am too stupid to reproduce. Please wait for nearest dev version and confirm.

I set the left Win for switch weapon. and use that key OR DEFAULT KEY ";" makes me stand up then back prone and start switch, when prone and switching from sidearm to main weapon.Even in DEV .61.106341
By Action menu,it works no problem
