When getting in vehicles you can have full auto on your gun, once you leave it, it will be reset to it's default, which in most cases is semi.

1.Go into editor
2.Place a BLUFOR Rifleman
3.Place a car or heli
4.Switch gun to full auto
5.Go in vehicle
6.Leave vehicle and look at firing mode, it should be back at semi.
Event Timeline
If you enter a vehicle, you should put your weapon to SAFE mode. Upon get out,
the AR-style safty turned to semi mode sounds make sense-- or stay SAFE mode as
it in ACE2

Optics mode resets as well which should not happen.
It would be also good, if the player could change the firing mode during the flight(i mean not in the FFV seats).

Could you please confirm whether this is still valid? I wasn't able to reproduce the issue - optics' mode stays the same as prev entering the vehicle.
Yes please fix this! Even though this is a small part of the game, it breaks the immersion a little by 're-setting' your character going in-and-out of vehicles (some other things like stance are also changed).
More importantly, it has practical implications as well: I find myself more often than necessary cycling trough the fire-modes to check its state because it might have changed because of this situation.
@CXN: the default weapons don't have a safe mode and the player's inability to shoots its comrades in cargo already reflects a kind of safe mode, so I think your point is not relevant for this situation.
Please fix this. I'm seriously begging. This has gotten my friends and I killed on numerous occasions and made for some very frustrating gameplay.
Very annoying. You choose burst mode for your MX, you climb into a vehicle. When you disembark, MX is in single shot. Oukej, It's impossible you missed that!
It seems like the issue has been already fixed meanwhile, I have given it a try and it works fine. Thank You for Your feedback, could You, please, check the issue and close it if it is fixed correctly?
