Hotkeys for different stances. Being able to adopt a stance pressing a key/combination of keys
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Currently we have a key for adjusting the stance. You press the key + 'w' 'a' 's' 'd' to adjust your stance, having to pass through all the other stances.

There should be a possibility to adopt all of the different stances by pressing a key or a combination of keys.

For example, You could just choose whichever stand you like most and bind it to '2x ctrl'. {F18846}

I don't see why you need that. You will have to change your stance according to cover height for example. So how you will have a favorite stance?

@ahmedabdo you simply don't get the idea.

Imagine you use the key 'c' for crouching, then you could assign '2 x c' to select another crouching stance. Or pressing '2 x shift' for standing up directly, without having to pass through all the stances.

Absolutely agree on having designated keys for stances!
This would allow you to:

  • combine "stance left" with "lean left" if you desire so.
  • combine "low crouch" with "heal self" or "map" or whatever

This would really give you the freedom to create your preferred control scheme and "habits" of your character.

Please vote up!!!

I don't think it's needed at all.

I've never been in a situation where I was like "Oh man, I wish I could change to stance "X" without going through other stances".

If I'm prone and I want to stand up, I'll press Z. I won't go through all the crouch positions...

This suggest was processed by our team and will be looked into. We thank you for your feedback.
