Anyone who has used a map and compass to navigate before knows you need to have both to hand to get anywhere.

In previous ArmA games the compass was available in the map screen so you could take bearings properly. This has for some reason been disabled, making it very difficult to judge your bearing correctly.

Please bring this feature back.

Also if the red ring/circle on the map has been brought in to replace proper navigation techniques, then please have an option to disable it.
