Enemy AI ignores player gunshots and sounds.

Description

Occasionally the AI will completely ignore player actions such as firing a gun or a bullet hitting nearby if the AI can't directly see the player. The player can also run around an AI unit indefinitely, because the turning speed of an AI unit is slow enough for you to outrun while close by.

And I thought my EVE experience would be useless in Arma 3. Seems getting in and orbiting faster than their guns turn works here too!

Zalifer, wouldn´t count on that beeing the case in final realease. :D

They probably don't hear explosions that go off nearby, either. An annoying thing about this franchise.

or when they do hear your gunshots they become gunslingers and cap you 1 burst dead. i sware they hear better far away then they do up close.
