No Audio warning when a missile locks onto you.
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

I found this in arma 2, I just could not tell when I needed to pop flares. Im always too busy to check my radar. And in real life in most choppers especially futuristic ones they would make sure you had a clear visual and very clear audio warning. All I have to go by is a small M on my radar.

An Audio warning is a must, at beep or something!

(yes, this one was earlier, but the other one has already a longer discussion and votes)

Confirmed. The APR-39 provides an audible tone and visual indication and direction of a radar lock. The AN/ALE-47 provides an audible tone and visual indication and direction of an incoming missile and automatically deploys chaff/flares. Related to #10475
