After version 2.18.152783 new PROFILING and current
“ - Fixed: Non-exploding missile hit would do too much damage”

Missiles began to disappear if you shoot at point-blank range. about 20-30 meters. if you shoot further, the explosion occurs. ( for handheld launchers )

If you shoot with equipment like a scalpel on a caiman, the distance is even longer. There is no explosion at 500 meters.

it happens in multiplayer and in single player.

there is no explosion (shrapnel). the hit itself causes damage.

It looks like a self-detonation defense. Just like a grenade launcher. But it also happens with rockets, and it looks as weird as possible.

It works as should
AGM-114 Hellfire indeed has 500 meters fuze distancve irl and ingame
It's sadly that there are no particles and sound on unfuzed projectiles hit surface. Perhaps this will be implemented in future...
