Sakhal performance and FPS concerns

There are some areas where Sakhal needs some performance tuning badly in my opinion. I'll give my PC specs first just to show I have at least a decent gaming PC:

AMD 5800X3D
Nvidia 3080 Ti
32gb DDR4-3600
Samsung 980 Pro 2tb PCIe SSD
Windows 11 23H2 on a clean install

The main issue seems to be certain assets that have a lot more detail (poly count, textures) than previous DayZ assets that seem to put a much higher load on the PC when switching to highest LODs, as well as loading them into view in general. The new 4 story and 2 story apartment buildings seem to be the worst culprits. This is sad because they are beautifully detailed and textured but perhaps a bit too much so. Petropavlosk is nearly unplayable on my PC at extreme settings (which I run every other map or location on Sakhal without issue) until I drop object draw distance to medium (2000m) and object detail to medium. Otherwise I get heavy stutters as I pan the camera or use free zoom while I'm inside or near these areas of Sakhal.

Also, it seems some tree assets may also have too aggressive of poly counts, textures and/or LOD settings, as some of the forests in Sakhal are causing drastic FPS hits. Forests in general are always heavy on FPS in DayZ official maps, but Sakhal is even worse in this regard.

Steps To Reproduce

Using a good gaming PC which can normally handle DayZ extreme settings on Chernarus, Livonia, or the remote areas of Sakhal, check for stuttering and frame pacing issues in or around Petropavlovsk.

Check frame rate swings/dips looking at forests near spawn areas, compared to looking at the villages in the same areas.

We are looking into this, but general performance optimizations and checking out hardware specifics can take time. We adsive to utilize the medium settings for the time being.

I hope your issue gets fixed, but which assets have a higher poly count/better textures? Many assets (usually smaller stuff like furniture) really needs a texture upgrade. There is definitely a lot more detail on Sakhal (and I love that) but many assets are either decent at best or completely outdated.

Thanks, Geez :) I'm not the first one to report, am I? Coincendentally, TheRunningManZ was talking about it on one of his last streams (this past Sunday or Monday) and his PC is a beast - 14900K and 4090.

This entire area stutters on my 3070 on POOR...
