1- There's clipping while aiming down sights when the pistol is in lower weapon mode;
2- When running with any weapon, when you aim down sights the character zooms in before you stop (I changed my zoom in button so no It can't be that)

Steps to reproduce:
1- Equip a pistol
2- Lower weapon
3- Aim down sights

1- Equip a gun
2- Run and spam wim down sights

I would say that nobody runs while spamming aim down sights so the priority here would be the pistol.

I don't want to appear facetious, but weren't you advocating for this kind of thing in T182736: [Overhaul request] Make suppression and gun & character movement matter/better?

this is the problem that i'm referring to

surely this is intentional, since iron sights are not 2D screen overlays, in real life you have to actually physically move the gun to keep your sights aligned when you move from side to side, and guns are heavy objects with momentum and inertia, not weightless laser pistols
what exactly are you complaining about?

on rewatching the video I now see the sharp jerks that @autumn is alluding to. I was concentrating on the view down the sight, not the actual movement of the gun, which is indeed jerky.

@speedwaystar If you think that what I wrote there was what the two videos above show - everything I wrote went over your head.

In what world immersion is having a seizure when aiming down sights? And in the video by @autumn you can see the the weapon moving in unnatural ways, unless his characters has tics. Now, without jokes, it would take an unfathomable amount of brute force to make what the character is doing in real life, I would even say it is impossible, you can't do it with a pencil let alone with a gun.

To be precise and avoid further confusion:
1- There's clipping while aiming down sights when the pistol is in lower weapon mode;
2- When running with any weapon when you aim down sights the character zooms in before you stop

the screen shake at 0:21 in my video is not intentional, it is a visual glitch | look at the clouds when I change from M4 to a pistol

Edit: Video

@autumn Maybe I should've created another report for the issues I'm reffering to but both are in the same family.

@purechaos
okay, I see the sharp jerky movements that you're referring to now. I apologize for my somewhat combative attitude up above.
