Parameter "networkRangeDistantEffect" does not work after patch 1.22
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

After the patch, the players of our server started complaining that the weapon could not be heard as far as before the patch.

Tests have shown that after the patch, the audio synchronization distance is limited by the "networkRangeFar" parameter.

For example, if the "networkRangeFar" parameter has a default value (1000 meters), then the sound of a rifle shot ceases to be played at a distance of >= 1000m + 10%

During the tests, we set the value of the parameter networkRangeFar = 50, networkRangeDistantEffect = 4000 (default)
As you can see in the video, the sound of the shot stops playing as soon as the remote player leaves from my network bubble
