As of yesterday's patch, the game no longer "remembers" whether you are aiming down the scope or the irons/top-sight of guns that have that capability (such as the Mosin+PU or M4+ACOG). It will always use the top-sight no matter what, and you end up having to scroll into the scope each time.

Steps To Reproduce
- Equip a weapon with any scope that has an alternate view mode (irons/top-sight).
- ADS
- Use the scroll wheel to look down the scope
- Exit ADS
- ADS again and you will be looking down the irons
