Automatic update of mods when joining a server gets stuck
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

When I join to a server and I have never downloaded the mods that are used, everything works fine.
When one of the mods got an update until next time I join the server, it will start downloading but will stuck during the process. The server config is set with blank version so that the newest will be used.

The only workaround to join the server is:
Go to the download page of your workshop, manually update the mods and then join the server.

I have also experienced this!

Another thing I've experienced is on my server which runs 46 mods; people who try to join for the first time get a never ending yellow circle, it never says either "Up To Date" nor "Missing Xx.XGb"
Client will also crash if you click "join" while there is a yellow circle.

It seems as of this last update it now loads the list of mods needed to update if you wait long enough.

Same here. Happened to me once.

I just had a mod download that i didnt have, but two mods that needed updates failed to update.
So seems downloading new mods works fine, but updating mods fails.
Maybe this is related to the xbox problem kids are having joining crossplay servers with mods, Im on PC.

Hello everyone.
The issue has been fixed internally and the fix will appear in one of the upcoming updates.
