Items (especially guns) don't make a sound when you drag them from your inventory to vicinity (and vice versa - from the ground to your character inventory/hands). This is being exploited by experienced players to make gun-swapping sounds completely silent and I've seen the exploitation increase significantly over the past few months as more players become aware of it.
There are many youtube videos demonstrating this "bug"/exploit - here's a good example: https://youtu.be/Cjps5-K8pE0?t=180
At 3 minutes in you see the player spot another player, go prone in a bush, drag their gun from their back onto the ground then into their hands and there is absolutely no noise. In many cases this can give you a huge unfair advantage obviously at close range.
I've seen this bug being exploited by players over the past few years and I'm working on a mod to fix it but it would be great to see this fixed in the vanilla game when you guys have time.
Sorry if this has been brought up before but I feel like it's kind of important as it really is a big exploit that can mean life or death in many cases for the person who doesn't hear the gun swap sound and it really sucks to die to a player who exploits this type of bug to make themselves undetectable when normally it would be very easy to hear them swap a gun.
It's gotten to the point where I have died a few times to using the normal gun swap technique and I'm considering using the exploit since it has been in the game for so long it has kind of become a "feature", which really sucks! I know you guys have other priorities but if this is an easy fix it would be great to see it in the coming patches. Thanks team! Much love and respect for the work you do.
