I think it would be a good idea to change how kuru works as most people that get it now just kill themselves because of the laugh.

My suggestion is make eating human meat suppress the laugh and shakes for a while. This would allow people to play a cannibal more effectively, having to eat people to suppress the disease. It would also be terrifying hearing a player you befriended hours ago suddenly burst out laughing and realise your going to get eaten.
