Hi,
I am new to the Arma 3 world but really enjoying the experience. I have been roaming the maps in Eden Editor since installing the game. On four separate occasions I have climbed up a ladder without issue. Once on top of the building/tower/lighthouse I cannot climb down. It appears as the opening reverts to a floor.
Climb all the way up until the ladder symbol disappears.
Attempt to climb down.
I am not running any mods or optional DLCs. Only official DLCs.
Once at the top of the ladder that leads to a platform or roof, it appears that the open area that you need to climb down appears to revert to a floor and you cannot take an action to go down the ladder.

I think what they mean is the roadway LOD on top of the ladder, which allows you to stand on an invisible "floor".

Obviously to climb down the ladder you just have to find the climb down action. Just look down towards the ladder and maybe try scrolling the mouse to find the action.
@Leopard20 you are probably correct in describing the issue. I am doing as you indicated but just can't get the action to activate. I will give it a few more attempts but this action doesn't seem to work as easily as the others in the game.

Can you maybe give a example of a asset or Coords where you are unable to climb down?

It appears that this is operator error. I apparently wasn't looking down enough in my other attempts. Apologies for the waste of effort. Please consider this issue resolved.
