Steps To Reproduce
- Place a soldier with GPS in Eden Editor
- Hit preview
- Execute
showGPS true; shownGps
in the Debug console.
It will return true, even though no GPS minimap is shown.

- Might be worth to take a look at shownGPS as well since it doesn't check for custom panel.
- visibleGPS works fine
