Radios respawned in the Old Man safe house
New, NormalPublic

Description

Some time after start playing Old Man Campaign, in the safe house started appearing more "radios" spawned at the begining below the table (around 7-8), but after some time, they appear in the whole house, and also, there is no way to turn them off, i tried to turn on and then turn off on any nearby car I have, but after few seconds the music start again.

This ticket is opened for 2 issues:

  • Radios spawn (with each save load i see new radios on the house)
  • Radio can't be turned off (there should be an option on all radios, not just on the vehicles)

Same with me. I must put down headphones because of the sound too loud. But the most annoying was when one radio collided with the main storage box causing the box to disappear with the entire content, when I "teleported" home.

And at markets is same problem, the radios spawn even in 4-5 pieces near the seller, during the shopping session.

I have the same issue, wonder if its related to the other bug (https://feedback.bistudio.com/T150427)
I think my last functioning save had like 16 radios.

Hello.

Does this issue also happen after the hotfix? If yes please upload a new save file so that we can have the issue with the new data.

Thank you.

Have fun! ;)

Same thing happened on all of my playthroughs. It got to the point where the music in the house was so loud that I actively avoided going there any more.

Yes, this issue also happen after the hotfix. When the song cycle resumes and I am present. Not only at Home but even at market or another safe house where are radios open.

Can anyone confirm that this issue occurs even with a new game that was created after the hotfix update? I suspect that you are all using your old save files. Am I right?

Sure. I can confirm this. Radios are still duplicating like rabbits.

Am I right?

No.

Hi @Wulf, in my case, this is still happening, even after using the profiling branch on steam, my safe house now contains a lot more radios than before (its like a plage..)...

and yes, in my case you are right, I am using my old savegame, I really dont wanted to restart, cause I have a lot of progress and had inverted so many fun hours.

I really appreciate for this to be fixed asap, right now, i cant continue playing because of many other bugs, like task that are not marked as completed because the triggers are not being excecuted (ex: the pick up bomb car is not being marked as completed even after i get in the car, move to the destination and detonate, the whole mission is completed, but that particular task dont, and samjo is not giving me more missions, i will raise a ticket today for this.)

Thanks guys for you effort working on fix this, I am also a lead developer, and I know the process and how difficut is sometimes, so just thanks and good luck..

Now I have about twenty radios in Home. Sadly I can't sell them to market. And I'm not using an old save game. I can live with this, when I get home I take off my headphones.

Hi @Wulf, someone is there any update on this?

That's the less serious problem.
When you accomplish a mission and it doesn't confirm you, that's a problem!
I suffered it with two missions, so I give up and wait for an update.
Too bad, it seemed like a great campaign with huge potential.

I can confirm that this issue is still occurring. The furniture being thrown around the house seems to occur when fast travelling to it. I too have had other areas spawn additional radios, such as the L'Ensemble camp to the southwest of the Old Man's home, though not to the extent of the radios in the main house. Here are some pictures:

Is there any progress on this?, will fix for this be included on RC 2.0?

I started a new game about a week ago, after v2.0 was released. I am experiencing this issue as well; from a new player perspective, this seems to be a big problem when I'm playing the single player scenario (Old Man). Radios started duplicating inside the Home of the player and the ambient radio sound growing larger for each additional radio spawned. I now have reached ~15 to 20 radios on and around the little coffee table in front of the couch (all radios turned off in all vehicles). I have not found an in game work around for this yet and this bug is still problematic for me and possibly many other players as well. It is not game breaking at this time but a very obtrusive game play experience. Take a look at my screen shot:

I don't know why these radios are not given up. This happens at home, at merchants and at other rest houses where there is a radio. The most annoying thing is the extremely loud sound. Not to mention the very bad music repeated over and over again.

(please, excuse my english)
