Workbench allows the creation of XOB model format and it renders the models fine in there.
I ask that DayZ adds support to choose a XOB file instead of a P3D in the config param model for any given Object class.
I believe the game already utilises XOB files or similar to render Particles, the ocean and the terrain so any time spent on this shouldn't be too much.
This will help with the jump to XOB when ARMA 4 comes out for modders as well as give insight into the plans for Workbench for modders.
