Try to look through it.

Initially when looking through binoculars in a session, the first time you put them to your eyes there is a blinding white flash...

Now we still get the blinding white flash (only the first time, like before) when we put binocs up to our eyes...

So if you can remedy that extremely frustrating white flash while you're at it that would be great.
