So we found out that a lot of times just when at pos 1 and about to join in we get above error message, which drops you back at the server browser.
You need several tries, to finally be able to join a full server.
What we also realised (i say we as we are a group of 5 people), that often a few of us at the same time end up in queue position 1. Which obviously should not be.
Try to join for example: TheRunningmanZ server by Spaggie when it is full.
Wait until you are at pos 1 and hope to join the server -> In most of the cases, you will get above error message and drop back out agian.
8/10 tries, we fail to join in.
Was seeing this repeatedly on ExecCS's stream last night as well. This only happened after waiting in a long queue, so we speculated that by the time the queue system tries to join the server, perhaps the auth ticket had timed out. Maybe the queue system needs to take steps to refresh or keep alive the auth ticket?

@Geez it happens almost always when the server is full and a queue bigger than 7-10.
For me and my mates, last time we tried was yesterday 18.12 at around 17:00 to 19:00 CET.
Also happened on official servers.
Two days ago at DE 0-2 around same time if i remember.
Only when full and long queue. But then almost always, for several people across Europe.

Just for info, right now it happend again, was queueing in from 18, down to 1 at TherunningmanZ server, aaand Steam error. (Same for a friend)

Nope, no alt-tabbing, no minimizing. nothing like this.
Just after a long queue. Really, try it out yoruself guys, there is a 70-80% chance you will have the same on a full server with a queue above 8-10.
