I am just starting the game up this wot i get I have tried everything I do a lot of sniping and I can not use my range finder or my scope on my gun I have reformatted my computer I have tried without any mods which so ever and everything is exactly the same bin\config.bin/CfgWeapons/ItemInfo.scope

Hmm some users with this issue report that they could skip the error and continue playing.

Most of the time this error is caused by mods not by the game. It usually appears when an Item/Weapon in a mod doesn't follow the new standards for those items.

Try verifying the integrity of the game cache using Steam. If that doesn't help you can still try updating your mods to see if that doesn't help.

yes I can keep playing the game that is no problem the game runs fine mods I have done a fresh install without any mods tried the game every way possible nothing works 32 bit 64 bit no mods I tried without game launcher there's nothing I haven't tried it I have tried everything and I still keep getting the same error bin\config.bin/CfgWeapons/ItemInfo.scope I love sniping and now I can't really do properly thank you for your help

We will have a look at it but without the .rpt .bidmp and .mdmp files we cannot see what is happening in your game. Our own fresh installs don't have this issue.
