Steps To Reproduce

Position in a way that a branch of a pinetree (maybe test other trees like broadleaves as well) is in the trajectory, fire, see what happens

Additional Information

See 5inq fail on Oldschool in his latest video, he shoots three times, two are clearly on target but the bullet creates a puff cloud on the pinetree and it is unknown where the ricochet goes? Is there a ricochet? Well considering the round/rifle being used, there should be no real change to the trajectory, no?

addition: according to the log file, it may very well be the case that the player logged off there. So question Geez: is there some kind of immunity window when logging off?

The second shot appears to hit the tree to the right of him

Hello moeb1us and thank you for the report.

addition: according to the log file, it may very well be the case that the player logged off there. So question Geez: is there some kind of immunity window when logging off?

Currently there is no immunity window for characters that are logging off. We have been testing the trees internally but so far we were unable to reproduce the said issue. If you look closely, the second shot has hit the tree next to the character (you can notice the particle effect produced by the bullet hitting the tree - small pieces of wood fall from the tree at the impact point). It is possible that the first shot has also been a miss due to the sway from previously sprinting. Either way, we will keep looking into the issue, please let us know under this ticket in case you encounter similar situations in which the bullets do not travel through the tree branches.

Geez
