Too quiet weapon shooting sounds in some cases
Reviewed, NormalPublic

Description

When you and your opponent are divided by some kind of solid object (wall, rock, building) you can barely hear opponent's weapon shooting. Sonic cracks are still loud, but shooting is quieter than footsteps.
If you have clear line of sight on shooter, you can hear shots properly,

Some people say that with JSRS sound mod everything is ok.

Tested in SP and MP.

Since v1.68 I'm experiencing the same problem. As soon as the source of sound is blocked from player's view (in first person), it becomes extremely low and almost cannot be heard at all while the supersonic cracks remain super loud.
It's happening with both versions, 32- and 64-bit and I also tried with and without JSRS sound mod which does not make any difference.

This video (uploaded by someone else) shows the problem pretty well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-b2BTKme5CY

I got the same issue, with or without soundmods..I think the newly implemented system that changes the way shots can be heard isn't working quite well
