No, the bodies disappear before I interact with them.
You can't check their pulse, neither can you open their inventory.

Update 2

Just killed 2 guys, whose bodies disappeared the way described but I could access their inventory and loot them.
It was very tricky since I had to remember the exact position they died with pinpoint accuracy (1, 1-5 cm of the screen monitor)

For that case I specifically dropped an item above the place I killed them so i could remember.

I happened to capture a video of a similar incident today. Sorry about the darkness, I had to Alt+F10 shadow play to capture it.

My first few shots were firing at the guy while he was laying next to a Lada, then I ran down and got him as he ran around the caravan, but the body disappeared.

Notice how the boonie hat takes a hit like a ballistic helmet (or maybe it was the axe I hit), all the zeds aggro'd on me while shooting a silenced mp5 too.
Then the body dissapears. Sometimes I can loot them sometimes I cannot because they dont appear in vicinity.

Currently we are aware of an issue, where the player corpses disappear in specific spots on the map and their corpses are visible in the vicinity still. There is also a known issue with the corpse disappearing once player manipulates with its inventory. The method with players using alt + f4 to make their corpses disappear should be fixed. Can you please create a separate ticket in case you find any information on what triggers the issue where the corpse disappears but its inventory is not present in vicinity and you have not manipulated with its inventory? As there may be occurrence we are not aware of, meanwhile we will test the issue internally as well.
