@drumnstyxxyahoocom, the developers will need a lot more information for this report to be useful.
- Does this crash occur in singleplayer, multiplayer, or both?
- Could you describe what you are doing leading up to the game crash?
- Could you prepare and upload a troubleshooting report? (see also How to report Game Crash)
Sorry about that... I thought I uploaded a report... I tried to upload it again and it kept saying that it couldn't be read. but anyway an answer to your questions is 1. Single player 2. It always happens when I'm in a helicopter. In all instances ( about ten times) I was (in all cases) playing a scenario from the steam workshop called piloting the A9. Just before it crashes the frames drop to about 1 frame every 3 seconds.
specs are.
cpu. 6850k
graphics. NVidia 1080
x 99 motherboard
32 gigs memory
- keep getting this error when trying to upload the report.
Upload Failure

Exception: No configured storage engine can store this file. See "Configuring File Storage" in the documentation for information on configuring storage engines.
@drumnstyxxyahoocom, try uploading the troubleshooting report to a free file sharing service such as Dropbox and then linking to it in a comment.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/vswadlakfncywkg/ArmaReport_Log_20161217T020223_drumn.zip?dl=0 This time the crash occurred while switching from the scenario UI to the main UI.( when I hit the BACK button). And it happens every time since I've switched to dev. 32 bit version
All arma3.rpt files show:
Exception code: C0000005 ACCESS_VIOLATION at 0XXXXXXX
@drumnstyxxyahoocom, try these possible solutions.
Build: Development Version: 1.67.139709
It is quite important to mention you are on the development branch.

Your launch parameters look a bit wonky. Could you try resetting the launch parameters to the default state?
When using -enableHT you should not use -cpuCount=.
-maxmem=32768 - refer to the description about -maxMem=<number>.
-maxvram=8196 - try removing this parameter or setting it no higher than -maxvram=2047.
-noLogs - although crash info is still saved removing this parameter may reveal more useful info.
-mod= - try playing without any mods. This is to help rule out a mod or mods being at fault.
Okay, I'll try these ...Thanks. and BTW it was doing the same before I switched to dev... with or without mods
