Description

The basic RPG-7 model has PGO-7V riflescope. During the period, from the beginning of production of basic model of 1960, till 1963, optics models on RPG-7 were expanded.

Expanded modernization of RPG-7 for the entire period of 1960-2001
Modifications RPG-7V
On the basis of basic RPG-7 option the facilitated landing version of the grenade launcher with a demountable trunk, and also a number of the modifications differing in aim devices has been created:

  • RPG-7 The first model taken advantage in 1961. It was equipped with PGO-7 riflescope.
  • RPG-7V In the early sixties RPG-7 began to be equipped with PGO-7V sight with the modified angles of sight, and RPG-7V[8] was called since then.
  • RPG-7D Landing option, with a demountable trunk and a bipod [1]. It is taken advantage in 1963.
  • RPG-7H / RPG-7DN The modifications of RPG-7V and RPG-7D equipped with night sights of PGN-1, NSPU, or NSPUM (1PN58)[1]
  • RPG-7V1 Modification of 1988 with a riflescope of PGO-7V3 which aim scale is calculated on firing by new shots of PG-7VR and TBG-7V, along with all old shots. The removable bipod is also added [9]
  • RPG-7D1 Modification of 1988 of landing version of the grenade launcher with installation of a sight PGO-7V3[1]
  • RPG-7V2 Modification of 2001 with universal aim UP-7V[1] adaptation
  • RPG-7D2 Modification of 2001 of landing option with universal aim UP-7V[1] adaptation
  • RPG-7D3 Modification of 2001, landing RPG-7V2[1] option
  • Airtronic USA RPG-7 Clone of RPG-7 of production of the USA. As of 2013 is on arms of forces of special operations of Peru.
  • Airtronic USA Mk.777 The clone of RPG-7 of production of the USA facilitated to 3,5 kg. Resource about 500-1000 shots

Yup, would be welcome considering that current ironsights are useless for aiming since they're missing zeroing. Could be an additional RPG7 model, replace the current one, or (the best option) would be to have detachable sights for the RPG7.

Not a true comparison and application, only similar names.
PGO-7 in Arma3 is an optical sight for small arms.
PGO-7V is the original name of the optical sight for RPG-7.
