Mission depedencies created by unused, only loaded mods (EDEN, SAVEGAMES)

For the first - this wasnt present before.
Now how the issue is looking : I'm building mission whilel ACE 3 (for example) is active, but not placing any of its module, saving mission and now
-in 1.60 i'm able to launch this mission without ACE 3
-in 1.62 mission become depend of ace_sitting, ace_draggins and some few other .pbo's
I'm more than sure depedencies wasnt creating in such manner before. They were created only when i was placing some mod's module, unit etc, now they are created when any of mod is loaded whil'm creating the mission. Please get rid of it, and get back to previous state.

Here is ticked (closed, as its "BIS fault" from ace 3:
Its pretty major issue, beacuse all scenarios need to be edited before playing, publishing, same with savegames.

Same with Savegames.

  • Try to load some small addon/mod (enhanced movement - it doesnt change anything in game, only addd few options)
  • Save game
  • Exit game
  • Launche launcher, disable this mod * (can be skipped)
  • Start game load savegame.

Even with this mod loaded, you can play the savegame.

  • Start EDEN with ACE 3
  • Save simple scenario without placing anything ace 3 related
  • Quit game
  • Start launcher
  • Disable ACE 3
  • launch EDEN
  • try to load your scenario

BIS, people says savegames in this game not work, so they dont use them, is theis some kind of 1st aprill joke? We have 2016 and your game have save game, how is this possible this isnt working since 2004? Arma 4 will have this issue as well?

Will check it out, however you mentioned Binarization of the mission file, there's a actually a checkbox that allows you to save the scenario without the binarization
Ctrl+K in 3d editor to see preference (option to disable binarization of new scenario files)
Ctrl+S uncheck Binarize the Scenario File

Bohemia, now its out of control. I need to edit my EVERY damm mission, damm 78 files!
All beacuse of any mod i used, best example is ACE 3 you can try on yourself, its only 100MB.

Previously, on 1.58 or even before it, depedencies was created in such way ;
I loaded mods, started to build a mission > In building mission i used something from mod > mod files was added to depedencies.

If in building mission, i wasnt using any mod module, feature, function (basicly anything related to mod) its files wasnt added to depedencies.

I'm making mission while ace 3 is loaded.
I'm building mission, and didnt used ANY ACE 3 FEATURE
My mission file is FILLED WITH DEPEDENCIES EVEN OF ACE_SITTING...... and whole rest of ace's pbo's.

please do something about it. Many people have this problem

Thanks for such game. I play this very rare, now i cant do even this. 2 hours yesterday gameplay and i'm unable to continue it, thanks......

Thanks a lot for opening this ticket. 1.60 seemed to make mods loaded in the mod line, even when not used directly in the mission itself (such as ASR_AI, and client side addons such full screen night vision, etc) dependencies when before 1.60, that would never happen.

Not to mention how 1.60 also started making requirements for unused PBO's such as the ACE example above.

This is a nightmare for mission makers and makes every mod update a real gamble for whether your mission will be broken forever or not because you can't load it due to missing dependencies.
