I too have experienced this.

Totally unlit fireplace kit with rags and sticks.
I tried with 4 stacked stones (fireplace ring) and with 8 stacked stones for a full oven.

Me too, tried 5 stones and 8 stones. For me the fire had been lit and had gone out but still glowing

Another user has recently reported similar issue, and the user has mentioned using small stones. Have you been trying to build the fireplace from small stones or normal stones? Since you are supposed to use the big ones.

That must have changed recently then. It was the small ones in .55

Any idea how many Big stones we will need to mine to test it out?

edit: Can you now stack big stones?

Big stones should be stackable and the amount should be the same as it was with the small stones.
