I recently posted a report concerning how overpowered thestone knife is. It was "assigned" shortly after and has now disappeared.
Do you guys delete some of the issues? Because I've had this happen to me a number of times.

Compare stone knife durability to that of metal knives
Hello ColonelBurton.
The previous ticket has been closed as I was unable to reproduce the issue you have described. Please retest this once next patch hits Steam and report back in case the issue is still present on there.

Geez
Also, you should be able to view previously closed tickets if you allow them in the filter on main page (They are hidden by default), unless they are set to private.

I definitely did not describe the issue correctly.
After experimenting, the stone knife lasted AS LONG as a metal knife.
But this is still overpowered.
You can hardly use a makeshift flint knife as often and as efficiently as a metal knife.
Here is a video proving how overpowered the stone knife is.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Mtgb7m6Onc&feature=youtu.be
At the 5 minute mark, I sum up how many uses each knife had.
Please make the metal knives MORE durable and the stone knife FAR LESS durable.
Also, please make the stone knife less efficient. There is no reason a flint knife should open cans better than a garden hoe in my opinion, or why it should be such a super-efficient tool for skinning animals.
Hello ColonelBurton.
I have tested this thoroughly according to the video you have provided but I still was unable to reproduce the issue. As I have mentioned before, please wait for the next patch and retest the issue there. Also, we are aware of the fact that the stone knife is equal to all other knives in game durability/usability wise, and it is a design choice and we do not plan changing it at this moment.

Geez

well, even if it's not planned for the moment, balancing knifes by duarbility should be among the things to do.
(you already did this for boots/shoes, so why not for other items that serve the same purpose)
combat/hunting knifes>kitchen knifes> steak knifes>stone knife
I agree this may not be priority at this moment but the final version of the game should be like HaseDesTodes said:
combat/hunting knives > kitchen knives > steak knives > stone knife
